Potato salt baths

The solution for the removal of dirt

  • Low maintenance costs
  • Extremely high reliability
  • Capacity up to 80 tons/hour

Salt affects the ability of products to float in water. This principle is thus often deployed during potato processing. It ensures that so-called ‘glass potatoes’ and other floating contamination are separated from the good potatoes.

As a basis for the salt baths, DTS uses a conveyor technique. The main advantages of this separating technique are the low maintenance costs and the extremely high reliability. DTS salt baths can be deployed for high capacities of up to 80 tons per hour.

Extensive options
  • Deployable as dosing bunker
  • Scraper system
  • Combination with circulation tanks
