When cooling mushrooms, optimal transfer of cold energy to the product is extremely important. That’s why we use the so-called ‘counterflow’ cooling technique, where the cooling water flows in the opposite direction to the mushrooms. At DTS, we use our well-known conveyor technique.
The screw flights are completely perforated, so that cooling water can flow through the screw. The coolers are extremely maintenance friendly, wear resistant and easy to clean.
